Why PS5 Fans Think Gran Turismo 7 Is Releasing Soon

This isn't a good news for my wallet lol, it seems 2021 will be an insane year for ps5 😃

I've seen this making the rounds but have my doubts. R&C, Horizon, GOW, FF16 AND GT7 all in one year seems like a lot! Surely they'll be a delay or two on some of those but still seems a bit overly optimistic. Though I definitely wouldn't be complaining if they did all hit 2021 lol!

GT7 is the one absolute must have in my opinion.

Day one on the GT7 launch day... Take my money!

Damage? Proper/decent opponent AI? Or just a prettier version? If it's another series of pretty processions, I'll pass.

@Medic_Alert I guess 2022 could be spiderman 2, whatever Sony bend is making (days gone 2?)? Doubt Kojima will be ready but who knows? God of war might slip. Maybe something like Bloodborne 2. I’m sure they’re thinking it through. If there’s one thing I trust, it’s Sony’s first parties. 😅

Day one purchase for me too, hopefully sooner rather than later. I have read a few articles stating a launch window release so fingers crossed we get it no later than Q1 next year
I think this is also the game I am most keen to see the impact of the Dual Sense controller with, I am hoping I can feel when a tyre is off the road and braking in the wet etc. Plus will we get a bit more VR in this one?!?!

We've seen more of this than Horizon for example, so makes sense that it's coming soon.

If this had have been a launch title id alteady have had my ps5 pre ordered.

The way they’ve spoken about has always made it sound like it would be early on in the PS5’s life. But this is Gran Turismo we are talking about, so until it’s on the shelves... haha.

I'd be happy if GT7 hits by the end of next year, but they've got enough waiting in the wings at this point that it's looking like a great year regardless. Glad the first year slate looks so packed from Sony, gotta fill in that gap until the 3rd parties really catch up.

@redd214 R&C should be spring 2021, Horizon should be fall 2021 and God of War should be spring 2022. Need those spaced out.

It's a shame this didn't make launch. Racing games are always a good bet for a launch title: they normally offer a good technical showcase, stable online, split-screen and a pile of stuff to do. Past standouts PGR3, WipEout Pure, Forza 5 and Wave Race: Blue Storm come to mind.

@Medic_Alert Sony got a lot of exclusive games we don’t know about theses games releasing in 2021 are just a few of Sony games in development.

@Mostik well considering VR is noted to not work with PS5 games it would be a massive bummer. Unless they do a PS4 version, we might be out of luck.

@wiiware November has destroyed me. Hah! iPhone 12 Pro Max (after spending years with the iPhone SE), several pre-order games, PS5 and accessories...

Thankfully I started budgeting for all of this six months ago.

First half 2021 woo hoo. Then gets delayed like everything else haha. Dont bet on it. Ive been waiting for cyberpunk since 2018...

At the moment GT7 is my most wanted PS5 title, but with such a massive amount of content required I'd say 2023 at the earliest. That'll probably tie in with when I buy a PS5 slim for €300 with an extra controller and a free game 😊.
